For decades, Overseas Students Mission has begun our workday with intercessory prayer. OSM began in prayer and has been sustained by prayer since even before our beginnings in 1953.
This emphasis on intercession continues daily in our headquarters office and continues with a weekly group of partners who gather on the grounds of the nearby University of Virginia for small group prayer at Fridays After Five.
We encourage the “Fridays After Five” prayer tradition to spread around the world through OSM Project Partners, missionary staff, and friends who gather for prayer on Fridays or wherever and whenever they are able.
